K died
My colleague in the office died.
His name is “K”. He loves free climbing. I was close with not only him but also his family.
His approach to free climbing was so earnest that he traveled from mountain to mountain if he got holiday.

I think it was half year ago before his death. Suddenly, he asked me…
“Hey… For when I’m dead, please take a video.”
He said that, because of his hobby, he didn’t know when he would die. So he wanted me to take his video message and to show his family in the worst case.
I said,
“If free climbing is so dangerous, you must stop it! You have Family, don’t you?”
However, he said that it was unthinkable to quite free climbing. I thought it was exactly like him and accepted his request.
If we took a video in K’s house, his family would notice. So we decided my house for the location. K sat down at a couch and started speaking with a white wall behind.
“Well… I’m K. If you see this video, I will have dead. Xxx(wife’s name), xxx(daughter’s name), Thank you so much for everything. I’m really sorry to inconvenience you for my selfish hobby.
Mom and Dad who raised me, and all of my friends, you may be sorry for my death, but Please don’t be so sad. I am enjoying in heaven.
Xxx(daughter’s name), I am watching you from the sky, so don’t cry… Please say goodbye with smile. Okay, goodbye.”
Of course, when we take this, K was alive. However, six months later, he really died. He died in the sliding accident while climbing. Climbers usually put safety seats for the case of falling. However, according his climbing fellow, he did that but falling point was greatly displaced…
After Funeral
The vigil and the funeral got very sad.
His wife and daughter was crying…me too… I could not believe his death either.
About week passed. I decided to show THAT video K’s family. His family seemed to have regained calmness. I said that I had K’s video message and his family asked me to show that. So I decided to show it after the ceremony for the six day for his death.

According to him, K had been already dragged down into hell completely at taking the video message. He couldn’t understand why K could live so long after taking video. If ordinary, K would have got some accident and died soon.
